TFA flavors - In Search Of...
« on: September 25, 2012, 01:49:01 PM »
OK, I am trying to mix a batch of zero-nicotine for the nephew - Irish Coffee..

I ordered and got my flavors: Whiskey, Bavarian Cream, Whip Cream, Brown Sugar, Coffee (clear), sweetener and vanillin. I already have everclear handy, and I'm on the third batch - I can't seem to find other than bartender recipes and that ain't all that useful for ejuice!

I'm perfectly willing to throw HIM the stuff to mix, but I really want to get basic recipe for him, first. (He's already got college & basic-job woes enough ;-)

Anyone have any suggestions to try here? I really prefer my tobacco-flavors, and I'm killing myself and stinkin' up the house with this stuff!

Best attempt so far - and it was unimpressive tasting:
   2ml PG
   1ml VG
   10 drops coffee
   5 whiskey
2@ creams, sweetener, br sugar, and everclear!

I can smell creams all day long, but neither the whiskey or coffee come thru.

Thanks, folks!

I'm trying to decipher some of your info.
First off, drops as a measurement are not very accurate.
If I was making 5ml of eJuice and If I assume that 20 drops is equal to 1ml then 2 drops is 0.1ml
I am also assuming that 2@ means each flavor is 2 drops each and that they are all PG based except the everclear. I put the everclear under Water/Vodka/PGA.
Try to measure with a syringe rather then drops but small amounts may need the drop method.
In the attached graphic of the calculator I used 2% for your cream, sweetener, br sugar and everclear. Try using 1% and increase the PG and VG as shown.
10% coffee and 5% whiskey sounds reasonable but you will have to experiment with the percentage.

heh.. Thanks, BT..

I had been stuck in doze for 2+ days, (updating the stupid Rand-McNally GPS unit), and decided to install your ejuice code. Over in linux I usually use Scuba's spreadsheet.

Yeah, I was using silly/small measures because I am the test-subject as well - I can't use the stuff at all, if it's trash: I vape tobacco flavors and high-nicotine. That screenshot looks nearly identical to what I was working on.

Normally, I'd not even post that sort of thing, but sheesh - I *know* what tobacco's taste like and what I expect. This zero-nic "flavorful" stuff boggles me. I'll give your solutions a shot, thanks!
