Stunning work of art Mandro!! Do the batts just slip in and out, or do you have to remove an end cap? I've replaced non working/cracked screens with using an smd hot air soldering station - This one. I never thought I could do that kind of micro soldering, but it is relatively easy with the right equipment. You can buy replacement screens here: .69 inch 96x16 OLED screen (I request the blue)
Once again, outstanding! Man, I can't seem to finish one mod in the time you've made...what 50? lol, j/k!
Great work How are you liking the 04050 w/ dual 14500's.
I rarely post anything and for sure not as often as I should but Mandro your builds are simply amazing , you got a true gift.
Thanks guys.Lol. This is definitely my last one for a while. It,s a dual 14500 4050 mod with a sunken atty.
Mandro, what epoxy are you using to glue up your aluminium cases.
MandroLove the look you get! What is the black-n-white striped inlay material? Looks PURDY!
I liked version 1 with the exposed batteries, it was different and kinda raw, but v2.0 looks really nice.
I like this one better Well done mate
Mandro, Amazing builds!! What size C channel did you use on the Raptor build?
Thanks guys. These aluminium boxes are really easy to polish up. I purchased a polishing kit that you use on a normal drill for around £20. I got 4 different polishing mops and 2 polishing compounds.I enlarged the spindle holes on the mops and use them on a old bench grinder.
do you file the boxes edges to square them up first?think i took a little too much off my first box squaring it up, the front with drilled button holes and display slot blew in when i aqua blasted it.
incredible work Mandro.I absolutely love the exposed battery mod pre change. After is nice too, but pre was something that really differed from everything else I have seen.
Yup, That time of the year when the summer activities wind down and we can get back to building! Would love to see some build photos!
Excellent! and Thanks for the build photos! You've got some fun tools there. I really do need to get a small lathe & mill.
