Post by: Dznutz on April 02, 2013, 09:21:47 PM
Here are a few pics of a recent DNA20 mod I built.

This one has 2 x 1000 mah 20c lipos
1590a housing
Nickel vandel switch
Mini USB charger (not evolv)
and well you can see the rest :)

Nice work DZ, it came out really good. Is that a metallic paint? Cool
Like the carbon fiber band too. Give is a different look.

TY Break :)

It is a metallic like finish,  there are a few places that carry them with decent finishes already for either the same price of just a few dollars more.

I do like the carbon on it as well does give it just a little extra :)

I agree  :rockin smiley: very cool.
And if you can paint the screw heads, even cooler. But the screw driver would probably chip the paint

Very attractive mod, nice job.  That colour reminds me of a 55 Chevy a buddy used to have.  Can't go wrong with carbon fibre either.   :rockin smiley:

I've been liking these 1590A cases from Mammoth Electronics rather than the actual Hammond ones. The 1000mah Turnigy cells fit a little bit better in them.

Both enclosures are excellent. Good choice. They are both durable, solid cases. Mammoth is a bit wider and has less depth.
Hammond 1590a: 3.642 x 1.516 x 1.22
Mammoth 1590a: 3.64 x 1.52 x 1.06
