Title: OKR-T/6, T/3, T/10 and touch switches
Post by: SolarRay on April 19, 2012, 11:23:34 PM
I noticed the OKR series from Murata is available in an "E" model....force enable.

Could these be switched on via a logic level touch switch? Rather than a power MOSFET touch switch... Of course the design would have to included a Master switch.

Yes, but you can also add a 10k pull down resistor to the standard version and use a logic level touch switch.

Thanks Cape for the advise. Do you have a drawing?

hi i am  sure that it is a 100k for the okr-t3 and a 10k for the okr-t 6 and 10 i thought that it was the 10k for all three but after reading all through the okr trend on the ecf i have found out that the okr-t-3 was 100k :beer-toast: jimmy

10k will work for the T/3 also

Thanks CapeCad, I have also been looking at depletion mode MOSFETS, It can act as a "normal closed" transistor based switch. But a 10k resistor sounds easier.  Anyone know where to get the E model? it seems impossible to get anyway.... A solution with the standard model seems more practical.

I have been looking for the OKR-T/6-W12E-C and can't find any. This is the "Forced Enabled" model.
