Title: REC2 files..
Post by: w00tie on January 28, 2016, 07:00:13 AM
I find it very strange but ...

Since introducing the weight mixing & more than 7 flavors, ejuice me up create a REC2 file.
I'm using 2 computers so sometimes i need to copy, eventually save a recipe and open it on another...

I copy both REC & REC2 files but ejuice me up does not save any REC2 files nor open it when copied manually on the target computer....

Is there any fix for that ?

Thx.

Are you using the same version of eJuice Me Up on both computers?

Perhaps the recipe files are being saved to a different folder. On the target computer, go to File, Open and see what folder is being used.

def a strange problem.

Anyway.. It would be nice if the installeren should ask before installing the included recipes or at least put those recipes in a separate folder.

I can confirm this issue ...

PC 1 running Windows 7 (32bits)
PC 2 running Windows 7 (64bits)

Same version of Ejuice ME up...(16.0.0.0)

So.. copying both file REC & REC2 from one PC to the another..
Opening the recipe on the target computer the flavoring & % included in the REC2 does not show up in the software.
Weight settings are well loaded correctly.

Alternatevely.. Can I suggest..

Installing default recipe in an alternative folder like : \Breaktru Software\eJuice Me Up\DefRecipes\
Installing option for executables only.

Thanks :-)

Rec2 ONLY stores all of the data for the flavoring lines 8 through 10 as well as the gram weight for the recipe.
Everything else is stored in the Rec file.

Yes both files. rec and rec2
What flavor lines are missing info?
Can you post a screen shot of the problem?
