I'm still trying to figure out what chip to add to the walkie talkie. On the lil black box I used the ptn04050

The OKR is the tried and true hot topic here right now, I'm working on the PTR08100 myself for my 1st build.

Yeah but I'd need two batteries in series for that. I'm gonna try to keep the batteries within the original battery box which was only big enough for a 9volt battery. I've also won a bid that I totally forgot about on another pair of walkie talkies and I believe I can put two 26650s in them

So the DNA30 or the SX350 is the question?

Or use a 1000 mah or so, lipoly pack that is 7.4 volts. Very efficient use of rectangular space and you can run an OKL.  Unless you are a very heavy vaper it should last a day or nearly a whole day.

I've yet to add a chip to it. But it's nice being UN regulated for the time being . Oh and since I just quit smoking and always have it on me the blue tooth comes in handy for phone calls
