I want to start by saying that I am In the process of acquiring all the parts to make a wooden DNA 40 (possibly DNA 25, haven't yet decided that part) squonker. I've already bought a beautiful box from boxmod.ecwid.com and I'm going to be purchasing the Embossment Catch Cup from Sunbox for the 510. I chose that one because it apparently doesn't require soldering. So! Let's get to my question, shall we? I have only ever built MOSFET boxes in aluminum Hammond enclosures. Grounding was never an issue for me; I felt fine having ground wires on the 510, which was grounded to the enclosure, and also with the N-Channel to the battery negative, grounding has never been a concern. BUT, now I'm moving into the regulated realm, in a wooden enclosure no less, and I'm wondering if grounding the DNA board to the outside of the 510 will be enough in a wooden enclosure. Also, will the normal DNA wiring process of wiring the battery negative to its place on the board be fine? Or do I need some special extra grounding step for the battery negative? Please excuse my ignorance in this matter. If anything I've said is wrong or misinformed please let me know. Thanks, guys!
