Understand guys I'm only 26 years old, and I'm not the type that wants to control other people's actions. It's more I want to get people aware of what they are doing when they pick up a vape, or make a vape. This isn't directed at you guys on this forum, it's just something I have been watching on different forums.
What I'm seeing in places like ECF and the sub-reddit for vaping, is a great many people are okay with giving out information on how to get nicotine and how to make a mod.
I have no problem with this, though I can't help but feel a certain concern considering, I have been licensed by the United States Coast Guard, about how much people have an actual clue about the safety of certain aspects to vaping.
One example case I had over at ECF, a new guy came in asking for source for extremely high concentration of nicotine for his e-liquid. Sure could of been some innocent person trying very hard to quit, or could been a potential person that hadn't the slightest Idea on what he was looking for. I tried pointing this out in the thread, I was quickly shut down because apparently I was trolling.
I raised the basic points,
Are they using gloves?
Do they have children?
Are they actually trying to do something very bad with the liquid?
But I guess showing some concern is considered trolling in this day and age.
Honestly I hadn't the slightest clue who this person was and couldn't understand how people were so easy to give out information on where he could find such a high concentration of nicotine liquid over the Internet.
What gets me so bothered, is how the news media is spinning the story on vaping so badly. That people in the vape community seem to have become their own worst enemies from the information they give out and who they are enabling. The vape scene doesn't seem to have a clue as to why governments are shutting down the hobby, it's because none of them are giving a damn about what the other person vaping is doing.
Another thing also, is kids picking up mech mods and acting like they have clue about it. Do store owners even care what might happen if this thing blows up in the kids face? Oh no, I just want to make back the money I spent on buying the device.
