Before upgrading or uninstalling,
Shut down ReMind by "Right Clicking" the little
wrist watch located in your "Tray", the bottom
right hand corner of your screen. "Left Click"
on "Exit Program".

First back up your message file before upgrading (Remin.dat) or it will be Overwritten by the new install. The file is in:
Windows XP or earlier:C:\Program Files\Remind\ReMin.dat
Windows Vista, Windows 7 or higher: Computer-Local Disk(C:)-Users-YourWindowsUserName-AppData-Local-VirtualStore-Program Files (x86)-ReMind-ReMin.dat
Now: Uninstall the old version and Install the new version.
