Make sure you wear protective gear anytime you work with strong nic sol'ns. Just one drop on you or God forbid on one of your pets could spell disaster. I use a Tupperware container to hold the bottles so if a bottle tips over by accident, it is contained in that Tupperware. Also, don't forget Nitrile gloves (I wear X2), eye protection, and some type of apron. Another little thing you can do comes from an old chemistry saying --- "Acid to Water like you oughter".... in other words, pour the nic sol'n into whatever diluent you are using. That way the diluent will splash out rather than the nic sol'n. Use common sense and make sure you wash both yourself and the measuring devices you use thoroughly when done. BE SAFE and be around to vape another day!!!!!
50mg per ml is a pretty typical nic content for nic base. 100mg is also popular, but you have to be more careful with it.To dilute 150mg to 50mg, you would use 1 part 150mg and 2 parts PG or VG. So for example, you would add 100ml of 150mg nicotine and 200ml of PG or VG.
10ml of 150mg nic, 10ml of PG, & 10ml of VG will get you 50mg liquid at 67/33 PG/VG assuming your 150mg nic base is in PG, usually is.
Since I cannot find the "new message" link at all - either top or bottom of the page; I'm posting within this thread - sorry if I've offended anyone?I have a bottle of 36 ml PG based Nic. I mixed 60 ml of it with 60 ml of VG, so now can I assume I have a Nic PG/VG (50%) with a nic strength of 18 ml.
