The problem is not that the Trustfire brand is incapable of functioning properly, but rather the poor quality. Being a low quality battery they have a higher variance from one battery to the next, higher rate of defect, and poor longevity. Personally, I care too much about my devices to use anything but the best battery I can find. Quality batteries are not that expensive anyway. Going with a low quality battery is really not going to be worth the savings by any measure. It can actually be more expensive with the higher frequency of replacement.
