Found a nice box to mod but...

Found a picture of a sweet extruded aluminum box and spent over 3 hrs. searching for someplace that sell's it retail.
Put 2 of them in my cart at Aliexpress and hit buy and they can't ship to my state due to some escrow reason

Looked a little deeper into it, I can't get anything from Aliexpress shipped to my state.

Damn I hate it when that happens.  Haven't had any trouble getting mod parts from China, but other stuff I have.

Unfortunately I don't have any out of state friends, guess that's the down side of staying in your home town, family and friends are close at hand, is that a down side to

You can rent a forwarding box from any mail service center.  Though it's usually $5 to $10 a month plus shipping fees so it's probably not worth it unless you plan to use it all the time.  Probably just have to wait until they restore service or find another vendor.  Try Fasttech or Alibaba.  The latter is for wholesale orders and shipping is handled by the maker, but sometimes you can get them to do a "sample" order in small quantity.

I'll have to look into the forwarding mail box thing. Didn't find it at Alibaba, did find a company here in the US that looks like they make it, but it looks like they might be out of business. I can't actually figure out how makes it, HaGa China, SMOZK China, Bantree foundries US or D. all of the above. I did find enough specs on it that it wouldn't take me much work to get it ready to have produced, but unfortunately shapeways doesn't do aluminum, the metals they do offer are way more then cost prohibitive.

Maaan I got it all figured out for an awesome DNA30 box.
