Recycle and reuse
« on: April 12, 2015, 07:52:05 AM »
2nd mod build from all scrap material except for charging board. Reused plastic case and foam from clone dripper, recycled dual 2300 mah laptop batteries rated at 5c, and lastly 510 connector and vv trimmer still with ego pen circuit board attached. Just need to fiberglass it up and make it more presentable. And yes the fire button is still on the 510 connector

Nice,

I like the recycle / reuse...

I do that a lot for wire, I salvage the wiring harness from old computer PSUs which were destined for ewaste recycling... Considering copper wire isn't cheap, its turned out to be a good cost saving measure for my electronics projects.

The wire for my dual lipo mod all came from broken washing machine harness. Tons of 16ga amd a few 12ga.
