My brother-in-law is the one responsible for really getting me into vaping a few years back, so now that I'm a fairly decent mod builder I wanted to make him something since he's still using an ego style battery! Well he has thousands of dollars in retro gaming gear, and is incredibly nostalgic when it comes to Nintendo in general, so what better than an NES controller mod!?
After ordering the controller and teting it down, cutting out everything not necessary I still don't know what battery I could use that would make it worth while. I've found lipos on eBay that would fit, but at the most they are a few hundred mAh and probably don't support the current necessary for a PWM or DNA mod.
Questions;
What is the battery in most DNA NES mods, or really any lipo/li ion that will fit and give at least a day of use.
And, does anyone have any ideas of a dripper or an RDTA that will look nice on an NES controller and kind of fit with the color scheme? I'm thinking maybe a regular black tank like the subtank that has its O-rings visible that I could out a gray and red o-ring in on a black tank, but kind of would prefer something else, probably a stabdard RDA instead since he wants to get into rebuilding and that'd be an easier place to start.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, even if you don't have a definitive answer, ideas are just as valuable at this stage!
