Nicotine amount/absorption stinkies vs ejuice

Hi,
I am a long time smoker and new to vaping (been off the stinkies since August 1st and I used to smoke 3 packs a day of B&H
). After vaping for a month I started to wonder about stinkies vs ejuice nicotine consumption. I have not seen anything online that translates the amount I smoked into an ejuice equivalent of ml vs mg strength per day. After a bit of reading around I came across this info:
http://www.ecita.org.uk/blog/index.php/how-much-nicotine-is-absorbed-following-electronic-cigarette-use/
On average I have been vaping around 10ml of 16mg ejuice per day. Using the data in that document I knocked up an excel spreadsheet to do some calculations (see attached image). If my calculations are correct I have increased my average daily nicotine consumption from 54mg to 96mg per day (or the equivalent of 60 stinkies to 107 stinkies per day lol). That can't be right can it?. Does anyone know of any other online calculators that I can use to verify my numbers?
Many thanks in advance.
Formula used:-
ejpd=(spd*nps)*100/60/ejmg
spd=((ejpd*ejmg)/100*60)/nps
Key:-
ejpd = ejuice consumed per day in ml
ejmg = ejuice mg strength
spd = stinkies smoked per day
nps= Nicotine absorbed per stinkie

Thats interesting. I smoked 2 packs a day and I go through 5mi of 12mg e-juice a day. Any less e-juice and i feel edgy. I wonder if it has something to do with how the nic is delivered?

Based on my calculations 5ml @ 12mg = 2 packs a day at .9 mg per stinkie (the same nic content as a B&H (gold)).

But just think of the chemicals that you are not putting into your lungs.
The following lists are what are in cigarette smoke....
From the American Lung Assoc: Here are a few of the chemicals in tobacco smoke, and other places they are found:
Acetone – found in nail polish remover
Acetic Acid – an ingredient in hair dye
Ammonia – a common household cleaner
Arsenic – used in rat poison
Benzene – found in rubber cement
Butane – used in lighter fluid
Cadmium – active component in battery acid
Carbon Monoxide – released in car exhaust fumes
Formaldehyde – embalming fluid
Hexamine – found in barbecue lighter fluid
Lead – used in batteries
Napthalene – an ingredient in moth balls
Methanol – a main component in rocket fuel
Tar – material for paving roads
Toluene - used to manufacture paint
Researchers have identified that cigarette smoke includes the following carcinogens (chemicals shown to cause cancer):
Acrolein
4-Aminobiphenyl
Aromatic Amines
Aromatic Nitrohydrocarbons
Arsenic
Benzene
Benz{a}anthracene
Benzo{a}pyrene
Benzo {b}fluoranthene
Benzo {c}phenanthrene
Benzo{e}pyrene
Benzo{j}fluoranthene
Cadmium
Chromium
Chrysene
Dibenz{a,j}acridine
Dibenz{a,c}anthracene
Dibenz{a,h}acridine
Dibenzo{a,h}pyrene
Dibenzo{a,i}pyrene
Dibenzo{c,g}carbazole
Dichlorostilbene
4-Ethycatechol
Formaldehyde
Hydrazine
Indeno{1,2,3-cd}pyrene
Methylchrysene
Mehtylfluoranthene
Mehtylnaphtalenes
1-Methylindoles
3-Methylcatechol
4-Methylcatechol
4(methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-butanone
2-Naphthylamine
Nickel
Nitropropane
Nitrosodimethylamine
Nitrosoethymethylamine
Nitrosodiethylamine
Nitrosodi-n-propylamine
Nitrosodi-n-butylamine
Nitrosopyrrolidine
Nitrosopiperidine
Nitrosomorpholine
N'-Nitrosonornicotine
N'-Nitrosoanabasine
N'-Nitrosoanatabine
Polonium-210 (Radon)

Oh yeah I know. I was not saying smoking was better for me :p. My question was regarding nicotine absorption levels between the two. I am a happy vaper and am probably vaping more at the moment than normal as I just got into making my own juice and its lush

It's kind of the million dollar question since there aren't any definitive statements on how much of the nicotine in e-liquid is absorbed into the body. I've always figured it's about half. An amount gets burned up by the atomizer and an amount gets exhaled with the vapors. Half seems about right. So, if you vape 5ml of 10mg e-liquid in a day that would be a total of 50mg, half of which is absorbed for 25mg a day.
For cigs, I seem to see 1mg per cig stated a lot, but again that's not something definitive. In that case, 25mg a day would be 25 cigs a day. Though it's all just guesswork.

I've been using E-Cigs for over 1 year now, and I've noticed that I vape more than I ever smoked. So when I first started vaping, I used a 2.4 mg nic juice and it was to much nic. I could feel that it was to much, so I switch to 1.8mg nic. That seems to work perfectly for me. My wife, however, lowered herself to 12mg nic in her juice and it seems to work for her. My wife doesn't vape as much as I do. She only uses it when she gets big cravings. I just do it because it is here, and I like the flavor of the juices I use, and it is fun for me. I never get any cravings unless I'm in a place for an extended period of time where I can't vape. Other than that, I just vape when I want to and at 1.8mg nic content, it works for me.
My recommendation would be to lower the nic level in your juice if you feel you are vaping to much nic. If you find yourself craving more and more, then you will want to up your nic in your juice. You will find the perfect level of nic that works for you. Sometimes I use 1.6mg nic in my juice and I don't have any problems with that. Someday I will try 1.2mg nic in my juice and see how I do. I would eventually like to get to the point of no nic in my juice and eventually quit all together. Someday anyway lol

Yes, a person has to adjust it based on whether they feel they are getting too much or too little. It's different for everyone so it's not really meaningful to make any generalizations. Trying to equate the nic level in your juice to how much and what you used to smoke is really pretty meaningless.
BTW, I think you meant to say 2.4% not 2.4mg Lexxon. 2.4% is 24mg since pure nicotine is very close to 1000mg per ml. Some shops use percent, but most use mg. I also started with 24mg and it was too high. After several years of vaping, I do 10mg, but even that's too much sometimes and I might vape some 0mg juice for a while if I feel like I've been getting too much.
