Title: ***FREE MOD BUILDING ENCLOSURES FOR DIGITAL METERS***
Post by: timesarerough on December 06, 2011, 09:28:39 PM
Enclosures anyone?

http://hammondmfg.com/

This was my particular area of interest:

PN's:

1551NBK
1551NGY
1551NTBU

You can requests samples of whatever size you wish, but I use the part numbers shown for building micro DM's (Digital Voltmeter). Be warned, its a TIGHT squeeze and they're veeeeery difficult to build!! Not for a novice builder.....

You MUST have a certain kind of LED DM for these tiny enclosures, otherwise you'll have to significantly modify the enclosure to get the DM to fit (Bad Idea). Some DM's won't fit at all, so very careful what you buy....

Good Luck!

Where can you ask for samples? Can't find it...

What I think Timesarerough is saying is you can request them. Probably HERE (http://www.hammfg.com/contact)

Hey, Timesarerough,

I was wanting to build a ohms/ volt meter to work on a 510 connection on both sides. do you or anyonehave a drawing and parts list for one. This is something that I really want to build.

Thanks   Mick8844

I don't think there is one for both ohms and volts. It's either/or

Sorry, I'm not a schematic guy...ask Breaktru if he could draw one up for ya.

But you'll have to tell him which DM that you plan on using.  :yes"

Are the files for these floating around anywhere? .STL or other? I'd love to print my own. This is such a great design. Heck, I'd even pay a few $ to get just the files.

???
What design are we referring to? A digital meter in an enclosure?

It seems that I posted on the wrong topic. I may just be an idiot. I was talking about the DNA30 screen cradle by Mamu. Sorry.  Doh:
