What do you think palls ?
Is it good for start first tube mod building

I mean it's 2 or more times cheaper from analogs (like rusian Nivel chip project) but even this it's have all that needs.
Also custom programs of heating/preheating !

I just found it and want to make e tube mode with it!
But doesn't have answer from the author..... Look after some topics in ECF and few guys are tried this electronic and it's good for PV.
At last, its cheaper and "plug-n-play" so its good enough for starting moders.

Does look great and it's handy it has the display built in.
I've made something pretty similar but the display is a real pain to find - but off the shelf it will make a good start for many people!

I'm in the UK so tend to use Farnell or RS for my components, although some bargains can be had sometimes on eBay :)
That would be a good size 7 segment though, with a pair it should work well. Still contemplating a sub-mini alpha lcd but not fully decided yet.
I've been programming the PICVari in Proton but also use HiTech C for some stuff. Decided on Proton for this one as I've not done any MCU work for 8 years :D

Only problem with mouser in then UK is their delivery charges. Bare minimum is £12 + taxes so you need to be placing a high value order for it to work out cheap enough.
RS are slightly better as long as you can buy in multiples as they tend to sell smaller components by the pack rather than singular.
Farnell are good and have reasonable delivery charges which if you're not in a massive hurry are normally free for a 48 hour service.
Another place that has great products is proto-pic.co.uk but again their minimum delivery charge is huge (£15) but they do offer free delivery if you're pre-tax order comes to £75 or more.
Be nice to see this module in the open more though so we could see what Dave could make with it - looks like a good footprint to allow a fair few packaging ideas.

Oh okay, didnt' know that. I don't know how Royal Mail works, but in the US for small orders, you can add a note to ship it USPS first class instead of USPS prirority mail. That gets the cost on shipping down to only a couple dollars. Mouser does have better prices here than Digikey which is another popular online electronics supplier.

Yeah, Royal Mail seems to work by robbing you at the post box :D
They've just had a 300% rise in the cost of first class and it's wrecked the cheap options it seems. Had a look at Digikey but they had the same problem as Mouser which is a shame as most of my component lists have Digikey ref nos lol

It does seem to be quite close to the Nivel, but has the switch already installed and the two boards are made to fold over giving a smaller footprint. I looked at this when it first came out, and I do think there is a Tayvoy mod for it too, but others have done there own versions.
There was some talk of selling these abroad too, but I do think the language barrier is quite an obstacle, and likely there has been enough domestic interest that it seems that international won't really be a priority. I'm not really that current on these though.

Unlike the Nivel and the DNA, the Tayvoy uses 2 series batteries. I would like to see one in an Asdaq Steampunk...

I do find it looks like a good board, but it is too big for me. It really is designed for a 18mm tube with the button opposite the screen.

Asdaq can you get these in Poland? Looks interesting although I don't and wouldn't stack batts in one tube a side by side with a top mount genisis would be cool.

Yes, even at a local shop 20 mins from my house, but I decided against it and don't really know if they still have some.

About $40 for the board, mods I'm not sure.
