Title: Vamo Module
Post by: Breaktru on March 08, 2013, 09:49:47 AM
For those that are interested in building a mod w/ the Vamo module. I have not tested it so I can't comment of how well these boards perform or if there are any problems with them.
Vamo Module (http://peleon.pl/product.php?id_product=2019)

Each one is tested with an oscilloscope before shipping.

For $0.24 more, you be better off buying one from FastTech as they have a far greater selection of additional stuff and a reliable warranty.

I was going to pass on the Vaporbreak link..   $12.50...  but someone beat me...

However, I did make a test mod out of my old VAMO into a box...
So you can do it..  I have new parts and pbc's coming for a better DNA style box..

1st try to see if it would work..
 with charging board

silicone over the tact switches
ego/510 connector

Just a quick note: Don't know how most here feel about FastTech, but they quickly added the V5 board to their lineup after I requested it last week. $11.64 USD

Built this mod as a test from a defunct VAMO of mine. Everything works, was the main button that wore out on me.
In the test box, every button is wire to a tact switch, the main one wired to a good NO button And the whole setup still works (14month old, heavy used and abused VAMO).

Just ordered 2 new boards, have Hammond boxes and other parts in as of today and  an Arlo power supply to mod next month.

Yea, I like the VAMO setup..  lower wattage than DNA's and both VV/VW!!  The 33.3 chip doesn't bother me or the wife!!

I assure you Breaktru, VaporBreak is a good site. They are heavy on code tho.. and it can be a pain.  ;)

My Malwarebytes software warns me of a potential malicious website and blocks access to it. It may well be a false positive.

I also typed in the IP address and came up with this:

The hostname supplydaddy.us resolves to the following IP address:
IPv4 address: 198.136.48.194
Reverse DNS: sv300.dimedns.com
RIR: ARIN
Country: United States

RBL Status: Listed in SORBS (SPAM)
Thread: Spam/UCE/UBE

SDaddy,
How long have you had that domain name/IP address. Perhaps someone before you had that IP address.

I've always had a Static IP address for my domain and one time my hosting company move me over to a new server and gave me a new IP address. Well I guess some crumb bag had it prior to me because I was blocked all over town. Had to get a new IP address.

Sever owners had a crash a few months ago.  ended up with everything moved to a "new" server.  This is probably my problem. Most places don't catch an issue and I use a cert from my computers.
Will be looking into a new host soon..  :/
