Hi,
I have read the post regarding freezing base nicotine to extend shelf life, but I was wondering if I should store my flavour concentrates in the fridge to extend life as well?. I have a growing collection of concentrates which will probably last me quite sometime and I want to make sure they wont go off over the course of the next 12 to 18 months.

I keep mine in the refrigerator. I keep my big stocks of nic base and PG/VG in the freezer. The don't actually freeze in there since since the freezing point of those liquids is well below the temperature of a freezer. I keep the concentrates in the refrigerator, freezer is too cold for them.

If I don't keep my flavoring and PG/VG and nic juice in the freezer or refrigerator, how long will they last just in a cool, dark place? Just curious....

Well, I don't have any authoritative statements on that but what I've heard is 1.5 years for nic base and 3 years for PG and VG when stored at room temperature away from sunlight.
Shelf life for nic base in the freezer is at least 10 years and pretty much indefinite for PG and VG.
Flavor concentrates have lots of different things in them with varying shelf life so who knows on that. For sure it will be longer in the refrigerator than not.

Welcome. Those numbers are not authoritative, but I'm pretty sure they're accurate or at least close.

Ok, folks. Stop and think about this. Nicotine not withstanding, you are talking about chemicals. Malic acid, vanillin, etc. that are stored in warehouses, shipped in trucks, and used in other industries where they receive no special storage treatment. Recently I witnessed this same discussion and one of the participants mentioned he had recently mixed juice from bottle of concentrate he had had for 10 years and it had NOT been refrigerated. We make vaping liquids with food and perishable items names. So, being human, we equate these chemical cocktails with the thing(s) being simulated. But, they are only a bottle full of chemicals. No refrigeration required. Now, to the question of refrigerating finished vaping juices. The concentrated chemicals simulating the desired smell and taste are in a carrier of Glycerin's that are thick at room temperature. Put them in a colder environment and they get even more viscous. Try filling your tank with this liquid when it is 42 F.
