Title: Those driptips do help
Post by: zeus17 on October 14, 2013, 10:13:47 AM
not sure if anyone has posted this already.

I know most of us wnated those thick huge clouds and we find ways to do so.
most of us make devices that are capable in giving out crazy power to the attys
most drill out air holes

i think i made a small discovery...

driptips..

use large mouthed ones...

long story:

on a dripper/regulated set up running on 2ohms,microcoiled,cotton wicks,2mm airhole. I have always used my delrin wide mouthed drip tip,and my vape was always thick and nice so i was satisfied with it,
last weekend i decided to clean the tip and soak it on warm water, removing the rubber ring.so while that was happening i used the one of those chinese cvdt,
which has a smaller mouth hole...

and tha vape was thinner compared to the other tip...

Absolutely  It does make a difference provided your air intake hole is large enough.

well yes that one too...

i was just amazed on how big the difference was..not only in the actual vapor production, but also in the thickness of the cloud...

CE4 oem  drip tips have a huge diameter.  I modded mine, cut length and fitted using a condom to fit 510's,  it does make a difference no doubt..

Sorry its the ce4 or vivi nova post cap leak proof condom.

Really simple, cut leaving enough nub and  place vivi nova or ce4 post cut condom on driptip.  If you want you can carefully dremel off the screwthreads, I dont, I only use it at home. The pic'd tip is actually too short for most attys..  I have two others that are a 1/8" longer and work great in most attys, the short stubby one pic'd,  works great in a genny..

You must be in amsterdam  :laughing2:

Its the inner internal post condom isolator if you have a nova you should have plenty.
Your gonna like the mod it is a great feeling on lips drip tip and offers the larger suction apparatus diameter..
I now prefer SS tips and enjoy occasional use of the modded ce4 tip..
I micro coil and too much vapor is annoying, the ss tips do help cut it a bit.
