Title: Nic Strength
Post by: midnightron on October 18, 2013, 03:19:25 PM: Hello, here is my problem. I purchased some nic otine, 30ml 150mg. I cut the nic down to 75 mg. I started to use the calculator. On top I put 50mg pg and 50mg vg Nic strength 75mg and nic strength 75mg. For target strength I put 18%. When I hit the calculate the target strength for nic sais 24 mg. What am I doing wong?? Please Help

Hello, yes, that is exactly what I am doing. Since I diluted the 150mg nic to 75 that is what I put in the top for nic strength.

Tell me your Target VG/PG ratio, how many flavors and the percentage of each flavor. Also what is the quantity of the ejuice you are making and I'll post a snap shot of what it should look like.

ok, my target vg and pg are 50/50, 1 flavor 10% making 30mls nicotine is 75mg. Hope this will help you to help me. Thanks for your response.

Exactly my point. The target nic is 24 and not 18. why is that?

30ml divided by 7.2ml is 24%. It is not 24mg strength. It is 24% of the total volume.

ml = volume of measurement in milliliters
mg = strength of the Nicotine in milligrams
