Title: Mixing DIY Question
Post by: rks1949 on November 02, 2013, 04:12:34 AM
I ordered some  50/50 base liquid with 12 % strength. My thinking (I may be wrong) was that I can use this base, with flavorings,to make my own juice,by just adding flavors. Is this correct? ???

Umm, 12% is 120mg per ml.  Even diluted with 20% flavoring that's still highly concentrated nicotine.  You would not want to vape that straight, would make you sick.  The strongest you can go is 36mg or 3.6% and even then you would not want to vape more than 3ml a day with juice that strong.  Nicotine levels 6mg to 24 mg are typically what people vape.  You need to add PG/VG to that as well to bring the nicotine concentration down.

I think I stated it wrong! :wallbash: It's 12 mg Nic strength. Here's a link to it.   http://www.mtbakervapor.com/236-ml-unflavored-nicotine-juice-usa-made/

Adding to your 12mg unflavored Nic will dilute the strength and change it's 50/50 ratio.
For instance: Say you would like to add 20% flavoring. Almost all flavoring is PG based. See attached for the results............
