Lately, I am feeling blah about my juices. I tend to make a recipe I enjoy and vape the heck out of it. I'm starting to wonder if I may have "burned out" my sense of taste. The recent favorite is a Creme Brulee or Custard flavoring. I'm at the point that it and anything else I have tried just doesn't taste right. Most of my juices tend to be mild, dessert types. All my materials are fresh and kept properly and I go through juice quickly enough to not be concerned about old stock. I have been trying to think of what I can do to wake my sense of taste up, so to speak.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I sure would appreciate some help. I wonder if I need something strong and perhaps astringent? Bottom line is I need something to "pop" for me to get back on track.
Thanks in advance for any and all replies......

I would try absinthe, I love that stuff. Of course, you have to like black licorice first.

I have been going through the exact same thing but my juice is watermelon.. Can't stay away from it.

I'm starting to wonder if I may have "burned out" my sense of taste.
This is a common occurrence among vapers....it's called "Zombie Tongue".
There are many different ways to liven up your taste buds, but one of the most effective is to vape flavorless joos for awhile (few days to a week), then go back and try your favorite juices again.

Thanks for the replies. I was just nosing around eJuiceMeUp looking at different recipes. Of course everything I see requires flavors I don't have on hand...lol.
I do like the absinthe idea -- something "romantic" about the whole absinthe thing. I remember reading about making the drink years ago and it sounded so interesting, but then I read about it rotting the brain....lol. I understand the flavor won't harm me and I want to see about finding some absinthe flavoring.
Watermelon is another flavor I've never considered. Why not? Will check it out.
Also certainly can try going with no flavor. I have tried lemon juice, extra brushing my tongue, and a few other things to no avail.
Think I need to be patient and this actually is a great time to discover some new flavors.
Again, my sincere thanks for the help so far......

I hate when that happens
I have at least two tanks loaded with completely different taste bud flavors but at some point in time I can't taste the difference. Same non tasting sheeeeet.
Another thing that may help...
After a couple/few tanks, take apart the tank and give it a thorough cleaning. Scrape the crud off the coil or change it if its beyond scraping and change the wick.
I use hot soapy water, a thorough hot water rinse, flush with PGA and another water rinse.
I have found that this brings back the ability to taste the flavor

I've had several small victories this week. First was making some cinnamon flavored juice. I vaped that for a couple of days and that seemed to help my sense of taste. Figured I would try it while waiting on the flavors I had ordered based on suggestions from prior posts in this thread.
Then ( I think you have my house bugged, Breaktru ) I indeed did clean my Russian thoroughly, recoiled and wicked, then filled with Creme Brulee juice.
Hooray...... I could taste the juice a bit. Not as strong as in the past, but I could indeed taste it. If I have to take little steps to get back to "full flavor" then so be it....lol. I'm just glad I can get a little bit of the flavor.
Thanks for the help and suggestions. I hope I am on the road to taste recovery!!!

I have the same problem. I have found that having a strong cup of coffee helps a bit. I am going to try the other suggestions as well.
