Title: Touch Switches
Post by: XombyCraft on November 16, 2014, 07:14:15 PM
Thought it'd be fun to start compiling some simplified info on touch switch construction.

Was surfing around this weekend and found a nice, short video by HackaweekTV on YouTube using a BC547 NPN transistor and a 220 ohm resistor.
Here's the video:

Here's the detailed project page:

not a LOT of in-depth info, but a quick and dirty NPN-based touch switch if anyone wants an alternative to the IRF one that BT uses.

This particular one is running off of 2xAA so about 3v... not that big a stretch to 3.7v.
