Hello all, I have been vaping for years now and have decided to look into the sub-ohm builds. I have one question, I know I don't want to go below 2 ohm, my question is when reading the ohm meter am I looking for 2.00 ohms or 0.20 ohms? Don't want to blow my face off. lol Seriously though, can anyone help? Thank you and God Bless

.20 is sub ohm. Anything below 1.0 ohms would be sub such as .99, .50, .02 etc...

my ohm meter will read 0.53 for a build of 2m spindle, 28 guage Kanthal wire, 4 wraps. Is this safe? I hear a lot of people building to 2 ohm, is that 2.0 ohm or 0.2 ohm As you can tell, I am very safety conscious. Can anyone please help? Thank You and may God Bless you and yours.

It can be safe depending on your mod and batteries. Do you know what voltage or watts you will be vaping at. Better to just list your battery type and info that should be on the battery wrap as well as what type of mod you are using.

Hi waterboy. Thanks for the response. As far as batter info here it is.
Green Battery, 18650mah, 3.7v
Purple Battery, IMR, 18650, 3.7v, LI-MN, High drain Rechargaeble 35A
I always use just one battery at a time so no danger of mixing batteries. I also run at 4V so to run at two ohm should the tester read 0.02 or .02 or 2.0 ?? Still confused. DUH :wallbash:

Tester should read 2.0 for 2 ohms. Your battery will handle that all day @ 4 volts. That's roughly 2 amps.
