Title: 1S lipo
Post by: dc99 on December 27, 2018, 12:38:52 PM
If wiring more than one 1S lipo together for say a DNA75 mod would they all charge together accuratly enough or would you have to monitor each one separately?

The DNA75 uses 3.7/4.2 volts so you need to parallel the batteries if using more than one. I would suggest that you use batteries that were bought at the same time and haven't used them separately before.
When charging the parallel batteries they will charge equally (as one) as long as the internal battery resistances are the same. That's why I suggest buying them at the same time so you get the same lot.
The DNA200 and DNA250 use series batteries that require the built in balancer connection.

I've been using 3 paralleled li-pos for a couple of years in my DNA75's.

If you had 4-1000mah 20C packs in parallel how would they perform compared to a 21700 w/4000mah? As far as longevity goes

A Samsung 40T 21700 4000mAh battery has a discharge rate of 30A.
(4) 1000mAh 20C lipos in parallel would have a discharge rate of 80A.
So the lipos should run longer between charges.
