Title: Help... Battery reading ZERO
Post by: elzakivis on July 08, 2012, 07:28:22 PM
I had a shorted atty and now my Trustfire 18650 is reading zero volts.
Is the battery shot. It's fairly new. Due I have to chuck it?

Found this info on a tripped circuit protection:

I put mine back in my TR-001 charger and it reset and charged. I read the candle power forum thread that Pantera linked to and I see that the wf-139 charger won't reset a tripped PCB or charge under depleted batteries. I guess it's worth a short.

I also just popped the batt in the charger and it was reset. Haven't tried it with my wf-139 though.
Just recently had a Li-Po trip and the USB charger reset it. Just takes a second. Plug it in and remove.
