Title: DNA 12 in 9v battery box
Post by: jbs on February 23, 2013, 12:35:58 PM
Hello.

It seems i am a bit behind everyone and while you are enjoying dna 20 i just made my dna 12 mod.

Not much to say about it. Simple and compact.

2 things i am not happy with.
- the lid part of the hole for acrylic charging indicator is too big :wallbash:
- i did not have black 20 wire so i used red and than got exceptionally stupid idea of painting it with sharpie

Nice job  :rockin smiley:
I use the same stupid idea too. I have a large roll of twin white 20ga wire and sharpie a black band for the negative  :laughing2:
Although the twin has one silver core and one copper core it's hard to tell from the outside what it is. The sharpie helps.

That is Sweet!  You really crammed that into a small space.  Nice job :)

It's true there is not much space in that box but it's amazing how much can fit inside with a good planning and space management.
Just have a look at Breaktru's dna 20 or Mamu's stealth mod.
Working with that box sometimes feels like making a ship in the bottle.

Cheers

Madvapes is the only e-cig shop that i know of that sells them.

Try digi-key, mouser, rs, farnell/newark. You could also try your luck on ebay.

If not go to official C&K website and look for distributors.

Here's the link to that tactile switch on mouser. I just bought a few last night.
