My first built box mod!

First of i would like to thank the following:

mamu for the inspiration, if it was not for her guide i would not of even attempted this mod, and also thanks too CraigHB, Breaktru, warlordxxx, Mandro, kortt, Visus for their advice on helping me with problems that I had whilst making it.

Me making this was not about the power of it or anything like that, it was more geared towards "I made this and i feel proud of doing so"

I am not the most sophisticated person so if i can do it many many more can too, it's very enjoyable making it and watching it all come together and once finished you get a real good adrenaline rush.

Again, thank you all, great website full of information and fantastic members who helped me along the way with making it.

Anyway enough of me waffling on................

I get that same rush when making and completing a mod but its almost as enjoyable seeing others go through the whole design and construction process.

Wow, it turned out awesome!  Great job and very impressive for your first one!  Are you sitting back now saying" that wasn't too bad" ? lol

I"m hoping I can get my next mod up and running by the end of the week. :)

Going onto my second mod now but with a smaller box: http://www.hammondmfg.com/pdf/1550A.pdf

External dimensions: L=89 / W=35 / H=30mm
Internal dimensions: L=73 / W=32 / H=23mm

Also ordered some of mamu's cradles.

Gonna be fun getting this battery holder to fit into the box as it is going on the left inside of the box which has only has a space of L=73mm but the battery holder is L=77.7mm

It looks like you will have to drill out one of the screw housings. The drilling isn't to bad to do, tidying it up seems be harder.

Not 100% sure yet as i ain't got the items with me just yet (on their way) but i was thinking of cutting the corners of the battery holder so it fits snugly where the screw housings are.
