Coils and setup
« on: January 26, 2014, 11:08:34 PM »
I dislike silica, love SS mesh but setting up SS mesh is a bothersome chore so making a hybrid coil and wick has made it as easy as setting up cotton.

I will add to this post when I setup another atomizer

3ohm micro ~1/16 (not nano) micro 28gauge 11/9 wrap with silica strand and sleeve stuffed with cotton
1/16 airhole

I wanted to show how well it wicks with an almost dry reservoir.   Its super fast wicking to the last drop unlike silica or cotton which both hit harsh when this low..  At this stage it still has two or three more vapes left in it before it just cherries with virtually no harsh hit when bone dry,  the fastest wicking of any set-up I have tried, hands down.

IGO-L

Thanks Break for moving this post I had no idea there was an atty forum.  woot   its really cool too..

My pride and joy for outdoors use e-cig
This thing vapes like a chimney the greensmoke batts can vape  1-1.5 ohm coils and make mountains of vapor
I get 4 hours use out of it  sometimes, most times,  more time..

Custom rebuilt atomizers 1.5ohm uber nano ss mesh polyfill and fibrous sleeved
This unit absolutely embarrasses/surprises many people with rebuilds, its a monster, its vapor output is on par with very low sub coil IMO .  I widened the airholes on both sides of the battery,1/16 both sides,  it flows air loosely like a real analog..
Incredibly difficult to rebuild its a 10 for difficulty..  Thick rich creamy vapor.
Their batteries are awesome, this unit is almost a year old and hasn't lost a step..

I think you are right Visus. SS mesh with sterile gauze feeder setup is more simple than others. Only you need to know proper use of it in proper place. Otherwise if you don’t have more knowledge about it, then I think you need to contact with coil manufacturing companies and mechanic for coil setup in your area.
