My Naos Raptor Build
« on: April 03, 2014, 04:49:12 AM »
Two white shafts on top are the potentiometer and a switch for Vin/Vout to the voltmeter. I am going to frame the voltmeter sometime this weekend.

Thanks to mamu and CraigHB for all the great input on the original thread. And thanks Breaktru for hosting a great site for sharing these ideas.

I tried a .3ohm coil at 6v with a cotton wick. Burnt the wick lol. Also for kicks I put in my igo-w3 with quad coils with no wick; .4ohms @ 6v was a light bulb.

Also went out last night with my .3ohm setup @ 4.2v. I went from ~7.8v to ~7.2 over about 5-6 hours. Pretty stoked with that.

That's not bad efficiency at all on a build like that.  Good work!

Very nice work sir.  I have three of those chips waiting to be played with.  In fact some inspiration may have just struck me.  I may go breadboard something up right now.   ;cheers;
