Very sweet, so far everyone who has tried this recipe likes it, takes about 2-3 weeks steeping though.

I've been vaping for awhile now, and just started with DIY. Newbie here, so please go easy on me  ok?  My latest project has been to find a way to replicate my husband's favorite stinkies- Marlboro Menthol.  Got tired of listening to his half hour hacks every morning at 4 am, so that gave me some ambition to find him an acceptable substitute. After several misfires, I finally came up with a recipe that he says is amazingly close, but we will see after it steeps a few days.
I have some flavors already mixed, and some that are just concentrates. Trying to use what I have on hand and came up with this recipe. Probably not easy to replicate since I used premixed flavors for the mix, but here goes anyways.....

Nicotine- I have a small bottle of 99.9% pure stuff from e-liq.com. USA made, and kept cool/dark and out of the way of anyone except me.

RECIPE-- to make 10 ml

Nicotine (99.9%) 4 drops  E-Liq
PG/VG base-168 drops or 8.38 ml E-Liq
Marlboro flavor (mixed- 16 mg nicotine)- 22 drops- 11% VaporRenu
Menthol flavor (mixed - 18 mg nicotine)- 6 drops- 3% Your E-Cigarette

End result is 24mg nicotine.

I'm using up supplies I have had for some time. I don't know yet how this is going to turn out, but hubby took a couple of hits off the vape and says it's really good, even without steeping. *crossing fingers*

i'm just starting to really explore my options for different flavors and different brands and makers. One of my favorites is just a general mix I make up of Peach, Strawberry and Melon. One of my fav all day vapes, as it's mellow and smooth. My single favorite is just plain melon- cantaloupe. I like watermelon too, but cantaloupe is indeed my single fav vape.
Thanks for letting me participate and I'm looking forward to finding some more good recipes and perhaps inventing a few of my own.

Here is my favorite recipe, converted down to use 100 mg nicotine e-juice.  This is just a simple all day vape I use that ends up really tasty after steeping a couple of weeks. :) Hope someone enjoys this as much as I do!

1.8 ml 100 mg Nicotine Ejuice- 50/50 PG/VG- 18%
PG- 2.3 ml
VG-4.1 ml
Water/Vodka/whatever- 0
Strawberry-0.4ml or 8 drops- 4%
Cantaloupe-0.8ml or 16 drops- 8%
Peach-0.6ml or 12 drops -6%

Potency is 18 mg nicotine. Adjust accordingly for your own needs.

OK folks...I got this bottle....10 ml of "sour strawberry" as a freebie when I placed an order with a vape vendor online. Problem is, it's 36 mg nicotine, and I don't ever use anything that strong. I don't think I have any sweetener around, just flavors and the other ingredients to create my own juices, plus quite a few "ready made" juices. My goal would be to get this down to 18-24 mg, and preferably get rid of the sour taste.

Any ideas other than adding it to some low strength lemonade e-juice?

Thank you in advance for any help anyone can give me. Much appreciated. I don't want to see this go to waste!! :)

Thanks!! Hrm...now if only I had some cotton candy flavoring....I don't think I do... I will have to check. I have an extensive collection of flavors but I've forgotten many of them already.. LOL!

NM I found it....I'll be darned...I have a lot more flavorings than I thought I had. I think about 75-80.

Anyone with other ideas, please don't hesitate to add your thoughts. I really am looking to use this up and make it good. :) Thank you!!

Thank you! I think I will split it half and half and do one of each and see how they turn out.  I am gonna leave them sit for about a week before I try them though, or I probably won't like them. Seems the fruit flavors really need some steeping time for them to come together the way they should.

Sure smells good though!! I went easy on the flavoring, starting it at 10% total to see how it goes. I can always add more. I don't think I've ever used less than 10%, so that's where I usually start at. YMMV

Thanks for the help guys. I was drawing a total blank for some reason. I knew someone in here would prod me in the right direction!!

Good recipes
Making an order in the next few weeks I will try many of them

I make basic recipes learning the base flavors per se'

My favorite still is TFA Dbl RY4 @8% 3 weeks to 3 months steep I always have enough to go 3 months and @ 3 months its majestic.
It becomes so potent you cannot put it down
I have tried it at 9% 10% and holy cow 12% way to strong after a steep initially its fine but give it a steep and it's horrible..

FA Forrest fruit Mix @7% with a drop of menthol is sublime

Cowboy @ 3% is decent

Am Red 4% with week steep is decent

I have tried many of the tobaccos and still have a hole for one I like as much as  dbl ry4  I have hopes for the fa cuban

TFA Blueberry 9% still adjusting it its just not right it needs many more things to taste like roars lol

Visus::   Here are a couple tobacco recipes I think you will like. The first one I developed back during the first part of 2013.  I like it and have several others hooked on it.  Even though it is made with one of the strongest tobacco module, Tabanon, it is nice by itself, but excellent when mixed with one of the milder, more flavorful.  I call it Red 555.  It is 50/50 Am Red @ 10% and DK555 @ 10%  Give it a hot water bath and steep 1 to 4 days and you will have a nice ADV.

The second I developed while working on another flavor all together.  I call it Range Blend.  The base for me is 50/50 due to development of a sensitivity to PG and only 1 to 2 % nicotine to stimulate the taste buds.  the flavor profile is:

    Cowboy Blend  6%
    Camel   8%
    Turkish (555)   6%
    Coconut    7%
and MTS   1 to  1 1/2 drops per 3ml of juice

Again, hot water bath and sit up (steep) for 4 days

Very nice and another that can be an All Day Vape (i.e.,ADV).

Another favorite is Cherry and Captain Black.  You probably have already made this one.  Works wit vanilla and chocolate as well as the cherry.

Thanks I will give those a try.

I have really sensitive taste buds so I probably use lower flavor  %
I  make too many juices at once and they steep and steep so they are uber strength by the time I vape them.
I have some 9 month old RY4 its awesome and that was mixed @4% Im trying long steeps to see if like wine what do they do..
So far so good on RY4
Am red and cowbow grow into a nasty concoction eww taste like a girls hair oil after a month steep
English toffee oh boy how can that happen it also taste like ladies hair gel
Mint also goes strange after about 2 months its not exactly mint taste like blood in the throat
Strawberry becomes sublime after 5 months steep

Eryck89 I do like 555 so --awesome!  I have not tried vape wizard, been meaning to purchase but WL doesn't carry it and thats funny it has their name all in it, "vape wizard"

The captain black from SM is not that good IMO if cherry wakes it from the dead oh thank you very much..
It also has steeped a long time, like 8 months, with no change in flavor at all

I'm trying some of these recipes, but I need to get some more flavorings to have the ones on hand that I need. Missing the sweetening ones mainly, along with chocolates. YUM!  So many flavors, so little time!!!

Sweet:
If sweetener is a flavor you are short of, here are a couple suggestions that can get you through.  Cotton Candy works as a substitute.  Stevia is a good sweetener in a pinch.  Heat 4.2ml water and 2.0 ml PG in a 10.0 ml cylinder placed in a pan of water until it is just under a boil, 190 -200 degrees F.  With the Stevia in a  small bowl, pour the water over the Stevia and stir to dissolve and mix well.  Cool and bottle.  Monk Fruit, also available in liquid form in the grocery store is a substitute for Stevia and works better than Stevia.  Ethyl Molto is a sweetener, amd a very good one.  Brown sugar can be used if you do not plan to use much.

I shop at RTS or Wizard Labs.

They both have excellent prices The wizard has better pricing  than RTS but RTS always has stock.

I have found better pricing but I already like those two and know their packaging etc etc so no surprises in quality.

I buy my vg at walmart, humco,  its good.  Wizards is better but by a margin so small and cause I bought 900ml  :laughing2:

I had a free 5 gallon sample of vg  and I messed it up by talking to much, as soon as I said e cig they were like oh noooo .  If I would have said bread or cosmetics then aha 5 gallon sample..  Was funny..  Doh:

Thank you. I've tried a couple of places and so far haven't been impressed. So for now while I make up an order for some new/ different stuff, I'll use up what I have here already made. I'd really like to be able to create flavors and combinations that actually taste like what they should.

Oh the places I could go...hehehe

Anyways, I enjoy the fruity flavors-with the exception of raspberry. Also like the soft drink replicas and bar drink replicas. I enjoy chocolates and sweet vapes also.
Does that help?
