SX 350
« on: July 07, 2014, 01:53:49 AM »
I have several SX 350 boards on the way and they should be here in a couple of days. Most of the work for these is self explanitory. I do have a question in all of the things I have read r seen on this chip I still haven't seen how to wire the up and down buttons instead of using the tilt method if someone know where ai can go to get the info I would appriciate it. I have all of the other parts I need ot build a few of these but no good wiring diagran.
thanks in advance

Well, Although I do appreciate the help with the uk modders site,I still have know Idea where to hook up the wires for the up and down bottons. The pictures do show the general area but I need something very spacific. I have seen several diagrams and schematics for this chip but None so far show where to hook up the charging port,so that you can use the firm ware and none show exactly where to put the up and down. I just can't figure out why everyone is keeping this a secret. I guess I will see if the manufacturer will help next because modders have been zero help.

Thanks anyway
Mick

I have never had one of those 350 chips in my hands however judging from the pictures there are 4 solder pads. One of them is left unused the other 2 are +- or should i say up and down or in case 350 chip its left and right and the fourth pad is used for both buttons.
I would assume that fire switch remains unchanged.

Unless you are referring to up and down navigation in the menu that i am not aware of.

found this, it sure will help, for the switches, you need to connect only at 3 pads... 1 pad for '+', 1 pad for '-' and another pad you need to solder 2 wires from the switches together.

If I connect up/down switches does that disable the gravity sensor? If not, is there a way to disable the sensor? I would prefer to just have button control on my mod. I haven't been able to find any info on this.  Thanks for any advice.

I might be wrong but there might be an option in the menu to switch the sensor off.
