Need help finding a concentrate
« on: July 22, 2014, 12:37:47 AM »
Well, most of you know how much I like helping others, but this time I mount the keyboard to enlist the your help finding eucalyptus or menthol and eucalyptus concentrate.  I developed a flavor called Eucalyptus Holiday (eucalyptus, cherry, absinthe, and huckleberry) which I love.  My problem is simple, I'm running out of eucalyptus (or eucalyptus and menthol) and can not find it at a reasonable cost.  Found just the right stuff in Australia - - but they don't ship outside Australia - -  Found one supplier in the UK  - - - 3 pounds 49 for 10ml,  not bad  - - - - SHIPPING and the exchange brought it to just under $20 U.S.  Not within the vaping budget.  If anyone can help find a source I would be forever grateful.  If it just isn't available, I will make my own concentrate out of vodka and eucalyptus from the florist.  If anyone has experience with making concentrates from organics, I would appreciate the guidance.    Eric

All the eucalyptus that I found while searching has a warning:  For external use only. It is for aromatherapy use and is an OIL. Can't seem to find any safe for vaping.

Here is an interesting article on the safety of eucalyptus: http://www.eucalyptusoil.com/safety

This link says great for hard candy and FDA approved: http://www.americanspice.com/menthol-eucalyptus-oil/
But: is NOT water soluble.

Here are more links: http://shop.lorannoils.com/templates/product.aspx?ProductGuid=2190-0300&GroupGuid=95
This one is water soluble: http://shop.lorannoils.com/templates/product.aspx?ProductGuid=0860-0500&GroupGuid=7

THANK YOU SIR.  I will do some more research to ensure the water soluble one can be safely vaped and post the answer for the benifit of those that might want to play with it.        Eric
