Vaping Magazine
« on: July 16, 2015, 10:38:14 AM »
What ever happened to the vaping magazine that was trying to get off the ground about 6 months ago?  It seems that every  business, hobby, and interest has it's own periodical.  Except vaping.  It doesn't make sense, an activity found all over the world and with worldwide suppliers, does not have a dedicated magazine.

I met a guy back in 2013 at the Tampa Convention Center Vapefest, he gave me 2 of his publications and a business card ... the magazines were glossy, well laid out, but filled mostly with ads ... tbh, the articles weren't anything we haven't read before or already knew ... I was enthusiastic and offered to write some sort of article, the guy was open to it and said sure, send it in ... I never did ... if I can find the magazines I'll post more info about them

at the time I thought his magazines would really take off, guess they didn't ... I'm not sure where his targeted readership was though, regional, nationwide or international ... like you, I thought an international publication would have been, should have been off the ground by now ... short articles and blurbs by people like Dr F and other knowledgeable medical writers or some of the vaping celebrity reviewers could all contribute with news, reviews, products, medical, legal and political information ... a monthly article by CAASA would keep us all current, and give CAASA a base to pick from when they need us to sign petitions or write letters ...  if not for ECF, perhaps we would have a world-wide rag by now ... but, everything is so much easier, cheaper and faster in digital mode these days
