Bottle Labels
« on: November 13, 2015, 04:00:04 PM »
Hello all, I din't know where to post this so I thought this was the closest forum to post it in. I have been making my own juices for quite a while now and I am starting to build up an inventory of juices because I have decided to put out my own juice line. All is going well accept for one thing. Currently I am using the avery labels for my bottles but the problem is, They don't stick well at all. They keep slipping off. Does anyone know what kind of label would be strong enough to make the label permanently stick to the bottles? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from you guys. May God Bless you and yours.

I had the same problem Ron.
I wiped down the bottles w/ alcohol before sticking on labels. After placing on labels I covered over them w/ clear packing tape. This worked for my own stuff but not very professional for distribution.
I'm sure there must be someone who knows about a better label to link to. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful Ron.

UPDATE:
I found this link for labels. Look for the labels that say "Permanent Adhesive". Professional Label, Inc.

Amen Brother Ron. Happy New Year.

I found this: Dow Chemical Company - PG USP/EP has a shelf life of two years when stored below 40°C (104°F) in closed containers away from sources of ultraviolet (UV) light
and this:
We expect the shelf life of Superol VEG, Glycerin USP/
FCC to be approximately 2 years if it is kept under the recommended
storage and handling conditions. If the product
has not been used within 2 years, we recommend to test the
product for key specifications. No specific data has been
collected for the shelf-life of opened containers of glycerin is
hygroscopic, it can be expected that moisture content would
increase upon extended exposure to air.
P&G CHEMICALS DOES NOT PROVIDE EXPIRY DATES

Here is an old topic of mine: Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerine
