Feature request/suggestion.
« on: February 26, 2016, 03:31:42 PM »
After testing ejuice me up and another software for some time now.  I have found I really have no need for the more advanced features, such as inventory tracking, of the other app and find ejuice me up to be more user friendly.

However there is one annoyance I would love to see addressed. That is the add more PG/VG popup warning. I do understand why it is there and how it works but in my usage of mixing max VG it can be annoying. For example if I were to mix a single flavor recipe with the app set for 100% VG Nic solution, the ratio set for 20PG/80VG and the flavor percentage of 20% I obviously will not get the popup. However when mixing  several variations of a recipe as i often do to fine tune the mix, with the addition of say 5% sweet cream I will have to change the PG/VG ratio in accordance to avoid the popup or subtract the resulting negative PG value from the VG value to compensate. Then adjust again with each variation as I add other flavors or modifiers and change flavor percentages. It seems counter to the objective of using a calculator to have to calculate the values to input or the results to compensate.

I am no coder and do not know of the ease or complexity of what I wish for but it would seem a MAX VG button in the ratio area that would output the VG amount based on the volume remaining from the total pg in the flavors and/or nic could work.

I hope my rambling post is understandable and the suggestion will be given consideration.

Thanks for all you have done for the vaping community in making this software available.

ENJOY

Hi KYBLUE, Thanks for your suggestion.
I can add the feature to adjust or suggest what the max PG or VG should be but I would run in to a a problem if the Nic Strength and Target Nic were not wide enough in difference to allow for PG/VG adjustment.

Hi,
Firstly I should say hi and thanks very much for the best ejuice calculator out there, well done!

Secondly, I would like to suggest an option to add more than 10 flavors.
There are quite a lot of complex recipes that require more than 10 flavors.
If it's possible, I would suggest an Add Row button, that allows users to add a single row for each click, that way it wouldn't always need to show more than 10 rows and users could add as many rows as they need.

Thanks

When you open the recipe file and scroll down the list and you open one of the recipes you cant just go back. You have to close that recipe and it goes back to the beginning of the list. Would be great if you could hover over the name and get a look at the ingredients or even if you could just click on it and go back to where you were on the list.

When you first start eJuice Me Up, don't enter any recipe. Then.............
Go to "Tools", "Grams Set" and enter your values then click "OK".
On the top menu click "File", "Save As Default" so that the calc will remember the settings for each new recipe you create. Make sure that when saving as default the files name is "Default.dft".
If it's an existing recipe, you will have to enter the gram weights then save the recipe to retain.

Try to follow me on this cause its hard to explain. If I have a recipe that I am working on and it is not finalized, can I save it and name it and then go back and edit it? Sometimes recipes that need steeping may need to be changed numerous times before there finished.

Is there a way to export recipes to an excel sheet?

Sorry FusionOne but eJuice Me Up does not export to Excel.
Perhaps a future updated version.
