Flavorart ran a feature flavor about a month or two ago for their sweetened condensed milk concentrate. In their description they clearly state it contains diacetyl and should not be inhaled. This waved a red flag for me and I only buy their MTS.
I agree whole heartily. It makes most people shy when even only one product has something banned in the rest of the world. I really want that concentrate, but can't.
I've used FlavourArts products since I started mixing, nearly 2 years ago, and honestly find them to be one of the good flavor marks, but obviously not the only one. They do have a composition list available for their flavors, so before judging them, take a look at it. And obviously if there was a doubt about diactyl being present in other flavors, they wouldn't have taken the trouble to mention its' presence in condensed milk, no?I have quite a few of their products, and still buy some when I need them. It is unfortunate that they had one flavor that wasn't diactyl free. But they told us. How many manufacturers and re-sellers (one in mind specially) don't mention that there may be diactyl in our vape juice, which we mixed with care and attention?
Everyone has different tastes, dislikes and likes with flavoring so the statement I'm about to make refers to my taste and my taste only ......When I first started DIY mixing (4yrs ago) I tried LorAnn's and thought it was terrible. I also didn't like Capella flavors.I found FlavourArt and did most of my mixing using ONLY FlavourArt. Yes FA Condensed Milk has diactyl as stated on their website so I avoid that.I ran out of peach flavoring and could not find FA Peach anywhere so I ordered The Flavor Apprentice (TFA) peach and thought it was far better than the FA peach. I now buy my fruit flavors from TFA. I still buy FA tobacco flavoring.I'm sure that there may be better flavor companies but I am judging from the only 4 flavor companies that I have used in the past 4 years. The flavoring percentage will vary on the flavoring brand, flavoring type and how long it's been sitting around. This is MY view and not an expert lab technicians study so take it with a grain of salt and do your own comparison.
It would be impossible to have the flavors adjust to a percentage according to their brand name mainly because everyone's taste varies.Just go to the comments on the vendors site for the particular flavor discussing what percentage people are using and you will see a wide strength margin used by individuals. I do that when buying a new flavor and never found a suggested percentage to my liking. Even the vendors recommended percentage needs to be tweaked. Usually UP.Here's an example of what I mean. Scroll Down to Comments you will see one person likes it at 2% while another at 14-15%.Here are two FlavourArt Tobbaco recipes at the percentage that I like:http://breaktru.com/smf/index.php/topic,129.msg15437.html#msg15437
