Time and date stamping
« on: November 15, 2008, 08:50:38 PM »
Customer......
Installed Payroll on new Vista Home Premium laptop. Used the first time 2 weeks ago. everything normal. Today after using, the user files that were saved were saved with the date and time from the previous pay period. The data was correct in these files, just the date and time didn't change. On no other program I've tried on this computer does this occur.
I make backup copies of user files after each use. When using windows explorer to copy the files, the "date modified" date and time had not changed.

If you are backing up or copying to a CD or DVD, the file attribute becomes "Read-Only" and may not be updated.
When copying back to the c:\Program Files\Payroll 200X folder you will need to right click the file in Windows Explorer and select Properties. Uncheck the Read-Only box.
