Hmmm, my first post here and it's potentially venturing into the political cesspool and resurrecting a 2yr old post... O.o But I saw this and just went thru the same, and yes, yer absolutely right, "sad but true"... :/

Sounds like Illinois and their Liberal debauchery with the FOID card requirement, Break... :/ (that I just went thru, after 6 months of BS, but it was successful nonetheless, YAY!)

Everything eventually worked out. I went through the original hand gun process 30 years ago. Things still didn't change. In fact it's worst. A couple of years ago I submitted the paperwork for my 4th hand gun and it was deja vu all over again. They really want to discourage people from getting a license by making it frustrating.
