I've read some posts on micro-coils. Some use different methods of wicking.
Tell us about your setup

current set up
2 setups on a kts storm not modified,i guess the only thing done to it was the bottom part to avoid the battery from kinda developing a crater was put a battery contact plate and do some windcrazy of copper wire coming from a wire used for cable tv..dunno if that matters

china era
1/16 drill bit was used as mold
10 wraps touching each other,,,
**what I did for them to touch try to make them close as possible when winding on the drillbit..place it on the era, remove the drillbit ,fire the thing until it glows, insert the bit again to make adjustments if needed, then squeeze them together using tweezers..remove and fire again see if it glows even, put drillbit again squeeze some more, remove fire, until I get them really close....
wick...cotton,,,soak for 10 minutes with juice..then I enjoy..
results..
a bit warm vape..tons of clouds..

on the mini did clone
14 or 16 wraps..
this time on the hex wrench that was included on the did clone...
same procedure

results..
well...colder vape...really cold...but nice white smoke..

**note did has like 2mm airhole..
era had like 3mm...

juice was like 70/30 ratio/...ill see if I can post pix...I have them on a local group on facebook

zeus, how did you do your wick? Did you thread it thru the coil or place outside of it?

I use cotton from a qtip,
then I just roll them by fingertip then slide it in...if it kinda stops I pull a bit out then try again...
I just insert them inside...
I cant seem to be successful if I do it from the outside...either it doesn't wick at all o wick poorly if I do it like outside.....
