improve your vapors
« on: November 07, 2013, 12:21:21 PM »
here are a few pointers that i think would help a few people our in imporving their vape, without getting a new mod or selling their neightbors :)

first is airholes..

first is aligning them simply align them in a way that when you peek thru the hole you can see the coil, atleast it should be centered.

next opening them up..
another option is to drill them up with a bigger hole..
you should start small then carefully work your way up,because once the airhole is opened up there are very few fixes,
and ofcourse align them...

so far both of these tips has given me to blow thick clouds..even on a 2 ohm coil @ 13watts

next is juices
well just in case we forget higher vg juices produces more vapor,

chamber reduction
now forgive me i forgot where i read this but rather than buying a "reduced chamber" just make one...
what a reduced chamber does is it improves flavor, very ideal for those gennies or drippers with a huge top cap like the aga agi etc.

ideally the goal is reduce the space inside the top cap
i used an old cork from a wine bottle, but for those who has acces to better materials, delrin sounds good
*(me thinks chopping board hahahah)

just cut the cork to fit the other half of the top cap in a way that it only leaves space for you to put your coils on and when closed it does not cover any of the holes,
torch to remove unnecessary things ,then your good,

please feel free to comment or add

Nice going  :beer-toast:
I've seen the AGA-T2 Reduced Chamber Caps. Does a reduced chamber really make a difference?

yes it does,at least for me...

my aga t2 initially has a cooler vape compared to my dripper, which is something i really do not like...
so i ve read somewhere that it reduced chambers will make my vape hotter.
so i gave it a go,plus its not really that difficult,to do...so oi gave it a go...

plus i saw on captivape,,,,they sell it for like $30,hahahha

results were comparable to my dripper, warmer vape, increased flavor was just a bonus :)
but increased flavor is an understament..

It does for me.  I normally use a 16mm ChID which has a small chamber to begin with.  At one point I tried a 20mm genny and found the extra space in the chamber to be a ding against flavor intensity and throat hit.  Chamber reducers are becoming quite popular now for this reason.

The smoktech Vivi is sort of a reduced chamber. The top cap seats half way down in the chamber and has a reduced opening on the underside as shown in the attached photos. I converted the Vivi to a vertical SS mesh like a genny covered with a thin layer of cotton.
