piecing mods together
« on: December 28, 2013, 09:08:09 PM »
I know we normally post about mods we make but I got bored today.  I had a dark grey elite hybrid laying around that I broke both tanks while trying to put the glass tank on it and a sigeli #8 that the fire button kept falling out of.  So I decided to take the hybrid body and mix it with the #8 top.   Well the top was a hair too big to just screw in.  What I did ....well for lack of better words, press fit it in.  Second the spring sucked on the hybrid so I found a whatyamacallit  that fit and replaced it.  Mod just didnt look right now because it had a chrome top and dark grey body so I got my new christmas present(dremel)out and put it to good use and stripped the anodizing off the body and chrome off the top.    Then attempted to polish it.   Here is my first try at all this and I need to go over it again but im proud of what it went from to what I got.  :)
