Carrying my Tornado / eGo
« on: August 29, 2010, 10:03:27 AM »
I carry the ego zipper case in my bag with the usb charger, extra battery, atty, carts, juice, etc...
But for the shoot from the hip quick draw that I need to toke on, I use a nylon belt holder I had around the house. I think it's from a MagLite or something like that. It came with something, don't remember what.

I found some nice eye glass cases in the Dollar Store. Used some foam and cut it out to fit my 510, spare atty, battery and eJuice bottle.

Eyeglass holder, the one you can wear around your neck. Some are fancy or you can get just the plain rope type. When in public I usually wrap it around my wrist. But it has saved me from losing it around the house. I got the one that has the big thick rubber ends. But with working around the house or in the yard they work wonderful, never have to worry about the button getting pressed by mistake.  I found them at Walmart.

Morning Tomboy, that's a wonderful and easy solution. How did you attached the PV?

I like the idea of the nylon belt holder. Good suggestion.

These are not the best of pictures, but I'm learning.
But I like the convenience of always knowing where my Ego is at all times. You can also get the large rubber bands from a craft store that does bead jewelry. It also works on the KR808-D You just re-adjust the metal slide on the rubber band.
While cleaning or working at the computer with this is great. And if I'm in public I also just put it under my shirt.

You should market that Tomboy. Pictures look good. That looks very handy to have around your neck. When your out, you can tuck it into a button down shirt.

Thanks, My neighbor make Jewelry, maybe her and I can come up with some great looking holders. If so I will post pictures and let you all know. That way we can keep the price down. Love making money but like helping friends more. ;)

Nice holder Tomboy, This would be perfect for my wife.
She's always dropping here eGo and forgetting where she left it.
If it's around her neck she can avoid all that.
