Opinion on battery holder
« on: November 01, 2013, 09:58:33 PM »
Hi Guys,
Ran across this 18650 battery holder with PCB.  Do you think it would work out for a mod?  It's got a 3A limit so would it work with something like the 08100 or OKR t/*?

Probably be okay for a step down with two in series.  With a 3 A limit, you'd be able to run it up to 18 Watts all the way to down to a fully discharged battery.  Wouldn't work for a booster though, but you're not using one so no problem.  Current limit is too low for a booster, just sayin.
